20/3/20 - WE'RE TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Following guidelines issued by the government on 20th march 2020, we have temporarily closed. at this stage we do not know how long for, but will re-open when safe to do so. More updates on social media, or click the 'read more' icon for regular updates

1/4/20 - ONLINE CLASSES NOW AVAILABLE
Online classes now available through the ZOOM app - book on via GymSync - available to members only

12/5/20 - HOME PT NOW AVAILABLE
Personal training now offered in clients garden or outside in a public area

12/5/20 - RE-OPENING PLAN (BASIC) 3 STAGES

Stage 1:
Personal Training

Start utilising the outdoor training area for 1-1 PT or 2-1 PT if clients are from the same household
Indoor PT to take place in the outside studio, mainly with functional equipment and a select amount of DBs
Personal Training from people’s homes, gardens and in public spaces available
Main gym remaining out of use
Group Exercise Classes
Up to 10 small group exercise classes a week – these will be on gym sync and will take place on the outdoor training area
The classes that take place will have no/very limited equipment. So it would be classes such as body balance, body weight HIIT, body combat etc
Clients encouraged to bring their own equipment e.g. yoga mats
Initially there will only be 5-10 spaces per class
Very strict on attendance policy – if people don’t show for a class they get banned for 2 weeks
Encourage members to be fair and only book onto 2-3 classes a week so it gives other the opportunity to do them
Keep the online/zoom classes going if they remain popular
Only accessible to members
Gym
Potentially offer gym access to members via booking system – a maxim of 10-15 people in the gym at one time.
Members will have to book in through gym sync to attend the gym so we can monitor attendance/capacity - 1 hour time slots and only 3-4 sessions a week
Reduced gym opening hours (7am-12pm & 4pm – 8pm), although you can PT within normal gym hours (6:30am – 8:30pm) - this is so we can increase cleaning time
Cleaning equipment provided but members encouraged to bring their own to reduce the risk of infection
Amount of equipment reduced in the gym to maintain social distancing (reduced number of benches, CV kit spaced out/some out of use, some equipment moved to downstairs and outside studios)
Increased cleaning by staff
Gym only accessible to members
Hygiene/Social distancing
Cleaning equipment provided but encourage clients to bring their own for better cleanliness
Apply social distancing measures with clients and other members of staff in the gym

Regular cleaning, and wiping down equipment after use/between clients and after classes
PPE provided to staff if they want
Showers, toilets and changing rooms closed


Stage 2:
Personal Training

PT can take place in the main gym but social distancing and hygiene measures remain strict
Equipment will still be available in the outside studio for clients who feel they may be more vulnerable
Group Exercise Classes
Increase the amount of classes being run at the gym
Increased amount of spaces available per class
Morning and evening classes offered to members
Class equipment remains limited and continue the strict attendance rules
Still offering online classes if they remain popular
Still only available to gym members, no PAYG members
Gym
Gym access to members via booking system – a maxim of 10-15 people in the gym at one time.
Members continue to through gym sync to attend the gym – however, frequency of attendance is not limited.
Normal gym hours resume
Cleaning equipment provided but members encouraged to bring their own to reduce the risk of infection
Amount of equipment reduced in the gym to maintain social distancing (reduced number of benches, CV kit spaced out/some out of use, some equipment moved to downstairs and outside studios)

Classes that involve more equipment (pump/circuits/boxercise) back on the timetable
Still available for members only – no PAYG members
Gym
Gym use monitored through gym sync ONLY during peak times, increasing the number of people available per session (20-25), unlimited frequency of gym use
Amount of equipment increased
Some equipment remaining in outside studio as an alternative gym during peak time – booking on gym sync still required
Gym and classes still only available to members – no PAYG
